Corrections

Claims this site has withdrawn or corrected, and where merged pages now live.

This page records claims we published and later withdrew because the sources we could check did not support them. They were withdrawn in the source review completed October 18, 2026, unless another date is given. To report a new error, see contact.

Map and locations

  • The 32 illustration-grid pins, their “confirmed” tags, the biome depth overlay and the coordinate tables built from them. Their positions came from a decorative image, not game-world coordinates. The map now uses attributed community data instead.
  • The Silver route “north from the Lifepod” and its precise bearings.
  • A square-kilometre map size measured from illustration pixels.
  • An eleven-entry wreck roster with depths. It mixed wrecks, outposts and landmarks and did not establish completeness.
  • The statement that the May 15–18, 2026 community sweep validated map pins.

Biomes and depths

  • A complete 13-biome, four-region roster and an eight-entry Coral Gardens sub-biome table.
  • Depth bands: Shallows 0–224 m, Overgrown Ruins 0–600 m, Root Canyon 364–750 m, and the Void reaching 3,100 m.
  • A guaranteed Observatory and Rosetta Stone sequence, a 400–450 m Root Canyon safe route, and a named module guaranteeing access.
  • Hazard depth bands, fixed patrol layers and safe corridors for Root Canyon, South Raceway and other zones.
  • Exact Shiver Leviathan sizes and a Root Canyon farming comparison table.

Creatures

  • A “five confirmed plus one hidden” Leviathan count with a class, size, location and temperament table.
  • A creature-by-biome spawn table.
  • The Collector avoidance route at 400–450 m, hugging the lower layer or timing a fixed patrol.
  • Uncredited Elusive Leviathan anatomy, shader and stalking-behavior descriptions.

Resources, recipes and tools

  • A Strong Acid recipe, a Conduit Crystal route, universal Titanium Ingot location advice and fixed Axum culture counts.
  • A hard cap of five Axum cultures and five Metal Farms, Mangalloy ingredient quantities and a Metal Farm recipe.
  • A base planner using Subnautica 1 costs that labeled a battery total as power cells, and a depth calculator that produced a “safe” depth from guessed tank values.
  • Borrowed equipment recipes, guessed upgrade tiers and guaranteed unlock routes.
  • An eight-hour first-session progression schedule and guaranteed safe routes.
  • The statement that proximity voice, revives and direct item exchange remained unshipped. They shipped in the August 19 update.
  • An “almost certainly” PS4 or Switch prediction and a port window tied to 1.0.
  • A July settlement closing the Krafton case and a payout narrative based on sales estimates.
  • A trailer scorecard graded against this site’s own articles, and video embeds whose source we could not identify.
  • Reasons for the UE5 choice, install-size tradeoffs, modding guarantees and which game is harder.
  • Claims that Steam is the only soundtrack outlet, that the album installs like gameplay DLC and that every patch adds music.
  • A “confirmed but locked” alien-site table and the claim that a Xanadu Titan can be reached only after a particular update.
  • The privacy statement that the site used only cookie-free aggregate analytics. Google Analytics 4 was also loaded.
